10-17-08 Met Tina over the internet, who encouraged us to pursue independant adoption from Rwadna, where she and her husband had adopted a son.
Summer 08-While we had always wanted to adopt someday, we start to feel drawn to do God's work in some way, gradually the spark of adoption turns in to a roaring flame in our hearts and minds. Oct O8- Made decision to adopt a child, felt God was ultimatly calling us to do so "Faith without works is dead"
James 14 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good [1] is that? 17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
